Pesticide Guidelines
CDA: USDA-NOPUnder the National Organic Program (NOP), products sold as organic in the United States must be certified by a USDA-NOP accredited certification agency. In Colorado, the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) serves as accredited certifcation agency for producers and processors.

Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI)OMRI is an independent, non-profit organization that reviews and maintains a list of products, such as fertilizers and pesticides, that are compliant with organic standards.

CDA: Pesticide Use in Cannabis ProductionThe CDA maintains a list of pesticides Colorado cannabis growers are legally permitted to use in the productions of cannabis, in accordance with the Pesticide Applicators' Act.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)Since 2019, the EPA has approved and registered over 49 products for use in hemp, primarily including biopesticides.
